Deadpool 2 will start filming in January 2017 Still without a helmer
Deadpool 2 is facing a set back after the exit of director Tim Miller, but the filming of the project may start in January 2017.
While 20th Century Fox and the lead actor/co-producer, Ryan Reynolds are still looking for Miller’s replacement, there are reports doing the rounds that shooting of the sequel will begin next year in January in Vancouver, British Columbia, reported Aceshowbiz.
Apart from finding a new director, Deadpool 2 also needs to cast two major characters, Domino and Cable and the movie is still set for January 12, 2018 release.
John Wick director David Leitch is one of the top contenders to helm Deadpool 2 and recently Tim Miller, who directed the first part, dropped out due to creative differences with star Ryan Reynolds, reported Variety.
Miller had not formally signed on to direct Deadpool 2, but was in the process of developing the script and was widely expected to return and most of the creative team had been set to return for Deadpool 2 and Fox Film chief Stacey Snider confirmed that screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick would be back to handle script.
